Duke's lopsided loss to Miami earlier in the week opened the door for a new No. 1 when the Associated Press poll comes out Monday - and Michigan put itself in position to take the top spot.

Glenn Robinson III scored 14 points for the Wolverines (19-1, 6-1 Big Ten). Brandon Paul led Illinois (15-6, 2-5) with 15 points.

Indiana 75, Michigan State 70 - Victor Oladipo finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, six steals, and three blocks, leading the seventh-ranked Hoosiers (18-2, 6-1 Big Ten) to a 75-70 victory over the No. 13 Spartans (17-4, 6-2) in Bloomington, Ind.

Elsewhere: Trey McKinney Jones scored 15 points for Miami, and the Atlantic Coast Conference leader beat 11-8, 3-3 Florida State, 71-47, in Coral Gables, Fla. The blowout was the second in a row for the 25th-ranked Hurricanes (15-3, 6-0), ensuring a significant jump in Monday's poll.

Levi Giese scored 17 points and Seth Hinrichs posted a double-double to lead Lafayette (10-12, 3-2) to a 78-57 victory over archrival Lehigh (14-5, 4-1) in Bethlehem, Pa., handing the Mountain Hawks their first Patriot League loss this season. . . . Freshman Hans Brase posted his first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 15 rebounds as host Princeton (8-7) routed the 5-15 College of New Jersey, 71-33.

Shabazz Napier scored 19 points as Connecticut (13-5, 3-3 Big East) beat Rutgers, 66-54, in Hartford, Conn., sending the Scarlet Knights (12-7, 3-5) to their third consecutive loss.
