Women's College Basketball: No. 20 Delaware beats Old Dominion, 86-62

Lauren Carra tallied 15 points and grabbed eight boards for the host Blue Hens, who won their 31st consecutive Colonial Athletic Association game.

Old Dominion (16-9, 7-6) scored the first four points of the game, but Delaware launched a 22-5 run to pull ahead for good. Delle Donne capped the run with a jumper as the Blue Hens (21-3, 12-0) took a 13-point lead, 41-28, into intermission.

Hofstra 53, Drexel 43 - The Dragons' three-game win streak came to an end in Hempstead, N.Y., with an upset by the host Pride. Drexel (16-7, 9-3 Colonial Athletic Association) was held to 23.4 percent shooting from the floor.

Hofstra (12-11, 8-4 CAA) was led by Shante Evans (West Chester Henderson), who had 14 points to lead all scorers.

Penn State 81, Iowa 69 - Germantown Academy graduate Maggie Lucas dropped 21 points to lead all scorers in the No. 8 Nittany Lions' win over the Hawkeyes in Big Ten action in Iowa City. Penn State improved to 21-3, 11-1, while Iowa fell to 16-10, 5-7.

Kentucky 78, South Carolina 74 - Kastine Evans hit two free throws with 8.8 seconds remaining to cap the No. 9 Wildcats' rally from a 14-point halftime deficit over the 14th-ranked Gamecocks.

Jennifer O'Neill scored 19 points for the host Wildcats (22-3, 10-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who held on while South Carolina (20-5, 8-4) shot 18 of 32 in the first half and improved early in the second period.

Duke 77, Virginia Tech 33 - The No. 5 Blue Devils (23-1, 13-0 ACC) took apart the host Hokies (8-16, 2-11), who have lost 11 of their last 12 games. Duke's Elizabeth Williams and Haley Peters each matched career highs with 25 points.
