Women's lacrosse teams vie for trip to Villanova

The championship game is slated for May 26 at Villanova Stadium.
The Division II and III semifinals and title games are both Saturday and Sunday in Owings Mills, Md.
Maryland, undefeated in 20 games, is the top seed in Division I and will host unseeded Duke (14-5) on Saturday. No. 4 Syracuse (17-3) will host No. 5 Florida (18-2). Third-seeded North Carolina (15-3) will host unseeded Virginia (11-9), and No. 7 Penn State (14-6) will visit No. 2 Northwestern (18-2).
Maryland is led by senior attack Alex Aust, who has scored 62 goals, while Duke has gotten a combined 80 goals from senior Makenzie Hommel and sophomore Taylor Trimble, an Episcopal Academy graduate.
Syracuse is paced by freshman Kayla Treanor, who has collected 64 goals this season, while Florida features sophomore Shannon Gilroy and senior Ashley Bruns, who have combined for 100 goals.
North Carolina's senior leader is Kara Cannizzaro. Sophomore Casey Bocklet is the offensive star for Virginia. Penn State features sophomore attack Maggie McCormick and her 49 goals, and Northwestern's Erin Fitzgerald has 56 goals this season.
