Phila. area hosting NCAA lacrosse championships in 2015-16

NCAA lacrosse is becoming a fixture in the Philadelphia area. The 2015 and 2016 men's championships will be played at Lincoln Financial Field, the NCAA announced Wednesday.

NCAA lacrosse is becoming a fixture in the Philadelphia area.

The 2015 and 2016 men's championships will be played at Lincoln Financial Field, the NCAA announced Wednesday.

The NCAA women's championships in 2015 and 2016 will be played at PPL Park in Chester.

The Philadelphia area has hosted 14 NCAA lacrosse championships.

In the 2013 men's final, Duke beat Syracuse, 16-10, at the Linc. In the women's final, North Carolina outlasted Maryland, 13-12, in triple overtime at Villanova Stadium.
