College Basketball: South Carolina ties school record with 12th win

The top-ranked South Carolina women, guided by former Temple coach Dawn Staley, matched the school's longest winning streak Sunday with an 84-44 win over Liberty (6-5) in the Subway Classic final in Minneapolis.

A'ja Wilson had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Gamecocks (12-0). South Carolina also won 12 in a row in 1979-80 and 2001-02.

Notre Dame 64, St. Joseph's 50 - Brianna Turner scored 10 points in her return from a shoulder injury to help the fifth-ranked Irish (11-1) beat the Hawks (3-7) in South Bend, Ind.

Natasha Cloud netted 16 points for St. Joe's (3-7).

Philadelphia U. 75, Goldey-Beacom 65 - Bria Young (Prep Charter) recorded 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead the Rams (8-1, 4-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) past the Lightning (4-9, 3-2) in Wilmington.

Freshman Lexi Bruno (Millville) scored 20 points for Goldey-Beacom.

Lincoln 70, Mansfield 58 - Amani Clark and Lisa Saunders each scored 11 points to lead the Lions (7-2) past the host Mountaineers (1-10).

Holy Family 65, St. Rose 62 -

Reggie Charles (Father Judge) and Marvin Crawford scored 10 points apiece for the host Tigers (9-3), who beat the Golden Knights (5-7) in the East Region Challenge.

Lincoln 88, Mansfield 76 - Kyle Aiken (22 points) led the Lions (7-4) past the host Mountaineers (4-7).
