Women's College Basketball: Princeton women gain revenge vs. Penn

A second-half run sent the No. 22-ranked Princeton women to an 83-54 victory Saturday over visiting Penn in their Ivy League opener at Jadwin Gym.

The win was revenge for the Tigers (17-0 overall), who lost the league title to Penn in the final game of the regular season last year.

Blake Dietrick scored 22 points, including the 1,000th of her career, for Princeton.

Kara Bonenberger finished with a season-high 21 points and a team-best seven rebounds for the Quakers (7-5).

Massachusetts 65, St. Joseph's 47 - With just eight players in uniform because of injuries, the Hawks dropped their first Atlantic 10 Conference home game, falling to the Minutewomen (7-8, 1-2 A-10) at Hagan Arena.

Natasha Cloud scored 20 points to lead the Hawks (5-10, 1-2).

Rutgers 71, Penn State 51 - Kahleah Copper (Prep Charter) scored 23 points as the No. 24 Scarlet Knights (12-4, 3-2 Big Ten Conference) used a big second half to pull away from the host Nittany Lions.

Rutgers forced a season-high 38 turnovers overall.

Rutgers had 22 steals, one shy of the school record, with Syessense Davis getting 10.

Lindsey Spann led Penn State (3-13, 0-5) with 18 points but had 11 turnovers.
