Owls in mix for Myles Nash

Temple could land one of the area's top football players.

Timber Creek junior Myles Nash has narrowed his list down to Temple, West Virginia, Clemson, Rutgers, Virginia and Kentucky.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder is being recruited to play outside linebacker in college. But, he is athletic enough to play multiple positions on the next level. Rivals.com lists the three-star recruit as the nation's 35th-ranked athlete in the Class of 2013.

Nash is a standout defensive end at Timber Creek. In November, Nash made his first varsity start at quarterback. He responded with 190 yards passing and five touchdowns in a 41-8 rout of Highland.
