It was far from pretty, but St. Joseph's will take its basketball wins any way it can these days.

The Hawks played at home Friday for the first time since Dec. 8 and made it worthwhile with a 58-48 victory over Siena at Hagan Arena.

It was the second win in a row for the Hawks (5-8) after six consecutive losses.

Carl Jones led the scoring with 17 points. C.J. Aiken collected 10 points and nine rebounds. Siena dropped to 4-8.

The Hawks will open Atlantic Ten Conference play Wednesday against Duquesne at Hagan Arena.
