The Dragons are coming off a 13-18 season. They will be led by two players who earned preseason first-team all-conference honors, senior point guard Frantz Massenat and junior guard Damion Lee.

Another key veteran for coach Bruiser Flint is senior forward Dartaye Ruffin. Also returning is guard Chris Fouch, who played just three games before suffering a season-ending broken ankle last year. Fouch earned honorable mention on the preseason all-CAA team.

The College of Charleston was picked to finish third, followed by Delaware, William and Mary, Northeastern, James Madison, North Carolina-Wilmington, and Hofstra.
