Joaquin del Rosario had both of Drexel's goals in regulation. Felipe Fagundes scored the ultimate game-winner in the shootout with the Blue Hens (14-4-1).
The Dragons (8-7-4) will face William and Mary for the title at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Seventh-seeded St. Joseph's fell to second-seeded George Mason on penalty kicks in the Atlantic Ten Conference quarterfinals in Dayton, Ohio. The teams played to a 0-0 draw before Jake Nelson and Holy Ghost Prep graduate Tim Lazorko scored on penalty kicks for the Hawks (5-8-6). But the Patriots (10-2-5) advanced by converting all four of their penalty kicks.
Women's soccer. Fourth-seeded West Chester (13-7) will face No. 5 Kutztown (12-6) at 2 p.m. Friday in the first round of the NCAA Atlantic region tournament at California (Pa.).
The winner will face No. 7 California (17-2-2) at noon Sunday. The Vulcans are the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament champions.
