The Drexel men's basketball team took a hit Monday with the announcement that junior guard Damion Lee will miss the remainder of the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Lee was hurt Wednesday early in the second half of the Dragons' 66-62 loss to fourth-ranked Arizona in the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden.

He was third in the Colonial Athletic Association in scoring as a sophomore with 17.1 points per game and is just 40 points shy of 1,000 in his career.

"We all feel bad for Damion and what he is going through right now," Drexel coach Bruiser Flint said. "He was going to be one of the top players in the CAA this season. We know he will work hard in his rehabilitation to be back on the court next season."
