Drexel falls to Loyola despite 20-point effort from Kurk Lee

Chuck Champion scored 21 points Thursday night as Loyola downed Drexel, 66-62, in a non-conference game at Reitz Arena.

Kurk Lee led the Dragons (6-7) with 20 points despite a subpar night from the floor. Sammy Mojica added 16 points while Austin Williams scored 10 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and swatted five shots.

Cam Gregory and KaVaughn Scott had career-highs with 16 and 10 rebounds, respectively, for the Greyhounds (2-8).

Loyola led for the majority of the game, going up by eight early in the second half for the largest margin by either team, but Drexel rallied to tie the score at 47 on a Tadas Karainas three-pointer with 8 minutes, 50 seconds to play.
