Gale leads La Salle women over Tulsa

Ashley Gale scored 19 points to lead five players in double figures and pace La Salle to a 86-73 women's victory over visiting Tulsa yesterday.

Michea Bryant scored 16 points, Ebonee Jones had 15 and Jess Koci and Chelsea Conner each added 14 for the Explorers (3-4). Gale also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Tatum Beer led Tulsa (2-4) with 19 points.

La Salle held the Golden Hurricane scoreless the first 5 minutes of the game en route to a 14-0 lead. The Explorers' lead grew to 19 midway through the second half.
