The La Salle women's soccer team had its 19-game Atlantic Ten regular-season unbeaten streak snapped on a rainy Friday afternoon in a 1-0 loss at George Washington in Washington.

Sophomore Jessica Wiggins made one save for the Explorers, who fall to 9-3-1, 1-1-0 A-10. George Washington improves to 5-2-3, 2-0-0 A-10.

La Salle had not lost a regular-season conference game since Oct. 29, 2010.

Widener 4, Lycoming 0 - Karen Thomas (Gloucester Catholic) netted her second career hat trick the Pride (12-1-1, 2-1) beat Commonwealth Conference foe Warriors(1-11, 0-3) in Chester.

The Pride managed 24 shots to their opponent's one.

Kelly Buckley (Radnor) got an assist on Thomas' second goal and scored one goal. She leads the conference in assists with nine, while Thomas leads in goals and points (33).
