Women's College Basketball: Peddy paces Owls past Penn

Alyssa Baron scored a game-high 23 points for Penn (6-9, 1-3 Big Five) on 8-of-14 shooting, and led the Quakers with five assists.

St. Joe's 72, UMass 68 - Michelle Baker scored 21 points and Kelly Cavallo posted 16 points and 14 rebounds as the Hawks (12-7, 2-3) rallied to beat the Minutewomen (6-14, 2-3) in an Atlantic Ten game at Hagan Arena.

Georgetown 60, Villanova 44 - Laura Sweeney scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but the Wildcats (8-11, 0-6) remained winless in the Big East, falling to the visiting Hoyas (15-5, 3-3).

Rowan 78, Jersey City 43 - Lauren Creel scored a career-high 15 points to lead the Profs (10-7, 5-2) past the Gothics (3-14, 0-7) in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game in Glassboro.

William Paterson 74, Rutgers-Camden 62 - Samantha Bragg scored 19 points, but the Raptors (7-11, 1-7) fell to the visiting Pioneers (16-2, 6-1) in the NJAC.

University of the Sciences 59, Felician 53 - Caitlin Shaw scored 11 points to lead the host Devils (11-4, 7-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) to their fifth straight win.

Chestnut Hill 55, Post 39 - Ebony Washington grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Chestnut Hill (5-11, 3-6 CACC) past visiting Post University (6-9, 4-4).

Bloomsburg 81, Cheyney 43 - Christalee Lynch scored 15 points but the Wolves (4-12, 0-4) fell to Bloomsburg (11-5, 3-1) in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Widener 79, Elizabethtown 73 - Lil Carney had 18 points and 10 assists while Kate Dellinger had 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Pride (14-4, 5-2 Commonwealth Conference) got past the Blue Jays in Chester.

Delaware Valley 81, Wilkes 70 - Jackie Shunkwiler scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Aggies (8-10, 2-5) past the Colonels (3-13, 0-7) in a Freedom Conference game in Doylestown.

Ursinus 60, Swarthmore 46 - Lindsay Teuber scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Bears (11-5, 8-4) cruised past the Garnet (10-7, 6-6) in a Centennial Conference game in Collegeville.

Gettysburg 76, Haverford 43 - Nina Voith had 15 points, but the Fords (8-9, 5-7 Centennial) fell to the host Bullets (13-4, 8-4).

Marywood held off Rosemont, 66-61, in Scranton. . . . Gwynedd-Mercy thumped Cedar Crest, 92-66, in Allentown. . . . Immaculata routed Philadelphia Biblical, 90-32.
