Penn impressed last season by going 7-8 on the road and the team will have some interesting road tests this season, playing Villanova at the cozy Jake Nevin Field House and traveling to perennial NCAA contestant Dayton in front of its usual 12,000-plus sellout.

Big Five games against the Wildcats and La Salle will come before the start of the Ivy League season, and Temple and St. Joseph's will be played on back-to-back Saturdays in January. Three of the Quakers' Big Five games will be at the Palestra.

Penn will play in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla., opening up against Northern Illinois, and drawing Florida Atlantic or Towson in the second game. The Quakers have dates with Navy and Toledo at the Palestra.

From Dec. 27 through Feb. 3, the Quakers will play nine consecutive games at the Palestra, including five straight in the Ivy League. Their Ivy schedule opens Jan. 5 against Princeton. The rematch against the Tigers at Jadwin Gym is scheduled for Feb. 6, which starts off a run of five consecutive Ivy road matchups.

The Quakers close the regular season on the road against Yale and Brown. The Palestra again will host the second annual Ivy League tournament on March 10 and 11.
