Tim Settle, one of the nation's most sought-after high school defensive tackles, was the highlight of Friday's one-day Penn State football camp.

The 6-foot-3, 318-pounder will be a senior this fall at Stonewall Jackson High in Manassas, Va. The Nittany Lions are competing for him with Alabama, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State, Texas, and others. Rivals.com ranks Settle as a four-star recruit and the nation's ninth-best defensive tackle in the Class of 2015.

Penn State will host two camps Sunday, followed by three more in July.

It was Settle's second trip to Penn State this spring. He had visited the stadium and facilities in early April.

Settle arrived at camp on Thursday night and toured the campus with Woodbridge, Va. wide receiver Eric Kumah. The 6-2, 180-pounder has scholarship offers from Old Dominion and Tennessee.

Penn State also hosted Ellison Jordan, a defensive tackle from Baltimore. The 6-2, 250-pounder has received offers from Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, and others. He will be a junior this fall. Jordan's teammate at the Gilman School, defensive end Camaron Spence, also attended. The 6-2, 277-pounder will be a sophomore this coming season.

West Chester Rustin offensive guard Ray Bordley, who visited Penn State twice last season, attended the camp. The 6-5, 310-pounder will be a junior this fall. He was on The Inquirer's all-Southeastern Pennsylvania fourth team last season.
