Offensive tackle Paris Palmer, who played for two years at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa., has flipped his commitment from South Carolina to Penn State, he disclosed on Twitter.
The 6-foot-8, 305-pound Palmer, from Plymouth, N.C., made an official visit to Penn State and watched the Nittany Lions go against Michigan State. He was visited at home on Friday by coach James Franklin and his offensive staff and gave an oral commitment.
Palmer, the 20th player to commit to Penn State's incoming class of 2015, was listed as the No. 9 junior college prospect by 247Sports.com and the No. 1 offensive tackle.
