Former Michigan quarterback Scott Loeffler, who was the quarterbacks coach at Florida the past two seasons, will be Temple's offensive coordinator for new coach Steve Addazio.

Addazio, of course, was the Gators' OC the past two seasons.

Sources familiar with the situation have confirmed the OwlScoop.com report.

Loeffler played quarterback for the Wolverines in the mid 1990s, then served as a graduate assistant there. In that position, he reportedly helped in the development of Tom Brady. In 2008, Loeffler was the quarterbacks coach for the Detroit Lions.

It is believed that Matt Ruhle, the Owls' OC the last three seasons under Al Golden (who left for Miami in mid-December), will remain with the staff in some capacity working with the offense.
