The Owls (10-7, 4-3 American Athletic) trailed, 22-13, at halftime after shooting a season-low 17 percent and committing 11 turnovers. The 13 points were the least points scored by Temple in a first half this season.
Temple held the Bearcats (8-9, 1-5) scoreless for more than six minutes during the run.
"It's definitely a positive," said Temple coach Tonya Cardoza. "We haven't won two games in a row since November. But we stuck together. . . . We have some tough games coming up."
Junior Rateska Brown led the Owls with a season-high 17 points.
Philadelphia University 67, University of the Sciences 54 - The Rams (9-5, 7-0) remained perfect in Central Atlantic Collegiate play with the win over the host Devils (11-5, 6-3 CACC) for coach Tom Shirley's 650th career win. Shirley is the fifth women's coach in Division II history to reach the milestone. Senior guard Megan Finn (Perkiomen Valley) led the Rams with 14 points.
Keystone 64, Cabrini 55 - The Cavaliers went cold at the foul line and were handed their first conference loss since January 2012 by the host Giants (10-5, 4-2 Colonial States Athletic). Cabrini (12-4, 6-1) shot just 1 for 9 from the stripe in the second half. Amber Keys (Phoenixville) led Cabrini with 16 points.
