Springfield (D) lineman Archibong commits to Temple

Dan Archibong, a two-way lineman from Springfield (Delco), has made an oral commitment to attend Temple, becoming the sixth player from the class of 2016 to commit to the Owls.

Dan Archibong, a two-way lineman from Springfield (Delco), has made an oral commitment to attend Temple, becoming the sixth player from the class of 2016 to commit to the Owls.

Among the schools recruiting him were Connecticut, Army, Massachusetts, Old Dominion, and Western Michigan.

The 6-foot-51/2, 252-pound Archibong said he was recruited as a defensive lineman and could play end or tackle.

"Temple's program is on the rise and it's great to be part of it," Archibong said. "It's a great feeling to have made my choice."
