Temple's Brown is out for today's NJIT game
Temple senior point guard Josh Brown is out for today's game against NJIT. According to a team official, he is experience soreness.
Brown has played five games in a row since missing the first six while recovering from off-season Achilles tendon surgery.
He would still be eligible to redshirt if injured, but that doesn't seem to be the route that this Brown is headed. The Owls are apparently being cautious.
Brown is averaging 7.2 points and 1.8 assists in 20.4 minutes. He has averaged 9.0 points and 25.6 minutes in his last three games.
