Here are some highlights from Temple football coach Geoff Collins' weekly Tuesday press conference:

On whether quarterback redshirt junior Frank Nutile will make his fourth consecutive start.

Yes, he will start. He has done a nice job for us, and I am excited to see what he does.

On whether left guard Jovahn Fair, who hasn't played since suffering an undisclosed injury in the third game of the season, will play this week.

This time last week I was optimistic but it didn't pan out for him and again we are trying to be optimistic about him getting in….Obviously you would love to have Jovahn back and it will be a game time decision. He was out there practicing today.

On whether running back Ryquell Armstead, who suffered an undisclosed injury early in the first half and didn't return in last week's 35-24 win at Cincinnati, will play this week.

Same (game-time decision).

On redshirt junior running back David Hood, who replaced Armstead, ran for a career high 108 yards and earned the single-digit No. 1 for his toughness, dedication and production.

The big thing with David is he just works every day and runs hard in practice and his attention to detail, where each hole is supposed to hit and having trust in his offensive linemen has played a big part in (his success) as well.

On walk-on linebacker Todd Jones, who came in for injured Isaiah Graham-Mobley and made seven tackles in last week's win.

Last week in the 11th play of the game, he came in and played WILL linebacker and finished the game, and played at a really high level at a position he never played. He will probably start on Saturday based on Graham-Mobley and his health.

On whether there is a little extra motivation since his team hosts unbeaten Central Florida on Saturday.

Every game we try to go 1-0 every week and try not to make any game bigger than it needs to be. It is a big game because we are playing in it.
