Temple has announced all but one game of its non-conference men's basketball schedule. As we reported a few weeks ago, one of the highlight games is Dec. 6 when Wisconsin visits the Liacouras Center. That is part of an eight-day span when the Owls will host St. Joseph, Dec. 9 and Villanova on Dec. 13.

Wisconsin has made 19 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, tied for the sixth longest current streak.

The Wisconsin matchup is Temple's first home game. It is the latest home opener since Temple hosted Fresno State on Dec. 9, 1997, the first-ever game at the Liacouras Center.

The Owls have one more non-conference game that will be announced in September.

According to a source, that game will be against South Carolina at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 30.

Temple is coming off a 16-16 season. The Owls are expected to be a contender in the American Athletic Conference, where newcomer Wichita State should be the favorite. The AAC schedule is expected to be released early next month.
