Last meeting: Eric Paschall scored 17 points to lead six players in double figures, and the Wildcats held Providence to 37 percent shooting in an 89-69 win on Jan. 23 at Wells Fargo Center.

The latest: The third-ranked Wildcats would appear to be going with a seven-man rotation once again with Paschall (concussion) and Phil Booth (hand) still sidelined. … They are coming off an 86-75 win over Butler on Saturday, getting almost two thirds of their points from Donte DiVincenzo (30) and Jalen Brunson (27). … In their last game, the Friars suffered their worst home loss in Cooley's tenure, dropping an 80-63 decision to DePaul. They shot just 34 percent overall and 2 for 19 from three-point range. Jalen Lindsey (concussion), their best three-point shooter, sat out the game and is questionable for Wednesday.

Clover enjoyed a strong game off the bench with 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting He made all three of his three-point attempts. … Demery leads St. Joseph's in scoring (17.3 ppg.). … Fordham has won two in a row and three of four after Saturdays 80-57 win over Duquesne. … Freshman swingman Ivan Raul scored a game-high and season-high 25 points, while hitting 4 of 7 from behind the arc. … Will Tavares, a 6-6 senior, leads the Rams in scoring (14 ppg.).
