Villanova will retire the No. 2 jersey of Randy Foye on Saturday morning during ESPN's "College GameDay" broadcast. He will become the 18th Villanova men's player to have his jersey retired.

Foye, who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, was a consensus All-America and Big East Player of the Year as a senior in 2005-06.

"I'm honored to be joining the elite company of Villanova basketball players with their jersey retired," Foye said in a statement.

Foye scored 1,966 points over his four seasons.

"Randy's impact on this era of Villanova basketball entitles him to be listed among the all-time greats at Villanova," Wildcats coach Jay Wright said in a statement. "I know how much Randy reveres the tradition of Villanova basketball and how much it means to him to have his jersey hang in the rafters."

Foye also will be honored at halftime of Saturday night's game against Pitt at the Pavilion. *
