Tony Chennault, a graduate of Neumann-Goretti High School, has decided to remain at Villanova and will play his senior season for the Wildcats in 2013-14, the school announced Tuesday.

Chennault had announced his intention to seek a transfer to another university last month.

"Our basketball family is happy that Tony has had a change of heart and decided that he wants to complete his college career and graduate from Villanova," Wildcats head coach Jay Wright said in a statement.

Chennault appeared in all 34 of Villanova's games as a reserve in his junior year of 2012-13, averaging 3.6 points and 18.5 minutes per contest. He went to Villanova after spending two years at Wake Forest, where he started 31 games for the Demon Deacons in 2011-12.
