Villanova has added a 12th game to its football schedule, something that's allowed at the FCS level but it never opted to do before.

The Wildcats will host Morgan State on Oct. 25. It'll be the first meeting. Last year the Bears, who play in the MEAC, finished 5-7.

The Wildcats, who are coming off a 6-5 season, still have a bye on Sept. 13. They'll play six times at home, and also are in Philly on Sept. 27 at Penn.

They open on Aug. 29 at FBS Syracuse, the first meeting with the Orange since 1975. Their CAA opener is Sept. 20 on the Main Line against James Madison. Their other non-league game is Sept. 6, at home with Fordham.
