Villanova freshman guard Collin Gillespie missed Sunday's game against La Salle with an injury to his left (non-shooting) hand and will be sidelined "three to four weeks," according to Wildcats head coach Jay Wright.

"Someone fell on his hand in practice," Wright said after his team's 77-68 victory at the Wells Fargo Center. "He was on the floor and someone fell on his hand. It's the back of his hand so we don't know yet exactly what it is. They put him in a splint, so we know it's not good."

Gillespie, a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, has averaged 4.4 points in Villanova's first nine games coming off the bench. He was shooting 46.4 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from three-point range while averaging 13.2 minutes.
