Games of the Week

Today

Kentucky at Indiana, 4 p.m.

This rivalry game has a Big 12 alumni feel, with UK's Billy Gillespie coaching against IU's Kelvin Sampson. Hoosiers star Eric Gordon is expected to play despite a bruised lower back.

Davidson vs. UCLA in Anaheim, 5:30 p.m.

The best 3-4 team in the country completes its tour of the top 10. Davidson already played North Carolina and Duke close.

Marquette at Wisconsin, 6 p.m.

Marquette star Dominic James shot just 4 for 16 in a 77-73 loss to Duke. Wisconsin fared even worse at Cameron Indoor, losing, 82-58, to Duke as top scorer Trevon Hughes shot 4 for 13.

Penn at Monmouth, 7 p.m.

Monmouth is 2-5, but the two wins are over Wichita State and Charlotte.

Tomorrow

St. Joseph's at Creighton, 3 p.m.

The Hawks need a quality road win, and this would qualify. Creighton thumped Drexel but lost at Atlantic Ten favorite Xavier.

Villanova at Temple, 7 p.m.

Will the Wildcats avoid an LSU hangover? Will the Owls play well enough for it to matter? Villanova tries to set a new City Series record, going for its 13th straight Big Five victory.

Friday

Hartford at Villanova, 7 p.m.

Former Temple assistant Dan Leibovitz is in his second season in charge at Hartford.
