RUSHING OFFENSE

Against a defense that had held its last five opponents to 1.6 yards per carry, the Eagles rushed for 299 yards and four TDs, including a franchise-record 217 and two TDs by LeSean McCoy. Guards Evan Mathis and Todd Herremans and center Jason Kelce outplayed Lions DTs Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley. McCoy had 40- and 57-yard TD runs. Chris Polk had a 38-yard TD.

Grade: A-plus

PASS DEFENSE

Nick Foles finally proved he's human, throwing his first interception of the season. His overall numbers — 11-for-22 for 179 yards — weren't great, which was to be expected given the conditions. But he finished strong, completing seven of his final nine passes, including a 19-yard TD pass to DeSean Jackson, and averaging 16.0 yards per attempt.

Grade: B

RUN DEFENSE

The Eagles caught a break when Reggie Bush didn't play, but Bush or no Bush, they still held the Lions to 80 yards on 33 carries. The Lions had four rushing first downs the entire game. They didn't have a run longer than 8 yards, and 23 of their 33 rushing attempts gained 3 yards or less.

Grade: A-minus

PASS DEFENSE

The weather obviously gave them a big assist in defending the Lions' explosive passing game. But they were playing in the same conditions the Eagles were. Matthew Stafford completed just 10 of 25 passes for 148 yards and no touchdowns. Calvin Johnson had just three receptions for 49 yards. Eagles got some timely pressure on Stafford when they needed it.

Grade: B+

SPECIAL TEAMS

The special teams gave up two of the Lions' three touchdowns. Jeremy Ross returned a Donnie Jones punt 58 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter, then took an Alex Henery kickoff back 98 yards for a TD early in the fourth quarter. Eagles' return teams contributed nothing.

Grade: F

OVERALL

After falling behind 14-0, this is a game the Eagles easily could have let slip away. But they battled back and took the fight to the Lions' vaunted defensive line, scoring 28 points in the fourth quarter, a quarter in which the Eagles' offense hadn't scored a point since mid-October.
