Eagles, Cooper agree to 4-year deal

The Eagles and wide receiver Riley Cooper, a fifth-round draft pick, have agreed to a 4-year deal. Cooper, 6-3, 222 pounds, played 51 games at Florida, making 28 starts. He had 81 receptions for 1,496 yards and 18 touchdowns.

The Eagles and wide receiver Riley Cooper, a fifth-round draft pick, have agreed to a 4-year deal.

Cooper, 6-3, 222 pounds, played 51 games at Florida, making 28 starts. He had 81 receptions for 1,496 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Last season, Cooper led the team in receiving yards (961) and touchdowns (nine). He made the second-team All-SEC.

Cooper, a native of Oklahoma City, was an outfielder for the Gators and was drafted twice by major league baseball teams. In 2006, the Phillies selected him in the 15th round and, in 2009, the Texas Rangers picked him in the 25th round. *
