You Talkin' to Me? Goodell should get tough on fighting

The Eagles face the Texans on Thursday night. Houston wideout Andre Johnson got into a quick but heated scrap with Cortland Finnegan of the Titans on Sunday. Both helmets came off, and Johnson landed a few blows to Finnegan's head.

Johnson and Finnegan each were fined $25,000 but not suspended. If you were in charge, would you have suspended Johnson for the Birds game?

I don't care how out of character it was for him, you can't punch another player in the head  when his helmet is off. This isn't the NHL. Roger Goodell has come down incredibly hard on players who hit defenseless receivers - too hard, a lot of players think. He should have done the same thing with Johnson. Not doing so sends a mixed message.
