Talking Points

Will this be the week Asante returns?: Asante Samuel missed his third straight game with a knee sprain. Considering the importance of Sunday's game against the Giants, the Eagles sure could use him, even though they picked off Jon Kitna twice.

Surviving without Stew:

Middle linebacker Stewart Bradley dislocated his right elbow against the Cowboys and is out for at least the rest of the regular season. Rookie Jamar Chaney took his place and played well. But it's one more inexperienced guy on an already peach-fuzzed defense.

The amazing DeSean:

DeSean Jackson, who was muzzled by the Cowboys in all three meetings and all three losses last season, had the game of his career, catching four passes for 210 yards and a 91-yard, go-ahead, fourth-quarter touchdown.

The licks on Vick:

Michael Vick took another beating, including injuring his thumb when he slammed it into a helmet on one of his interceptions. But he keeps getting up and making plays.

Another big night by McCoy:

LeSean McCoy was held in check as a receiver, gaining just 4 yards on three receptions. But he rushed for a career-high 149 yards, including a 56-yard run.
