It was as wild and wacky and crazy as they come, but the Eagles managed to gain sole possession of first place in the NFC East with their last-second victory over the Giants.

Of course, that was the only game of real consequence in the division on Sunday, although the Cowboys, by beating the Redskins, improved to 4-2 under interim coach Jason Garrett, guaranteeing no worse than a break-even finish for his tenure.
