49ers' Gore dressed to kill
After his fifth straight 100-yard game, a 49ers franchise record, running back Frank Gore donned a dark green military-style jacket, green cargo pants, and designer jewel- encrusted dog tags.

After his fifth straight 100-yard game, a 49ers franchise record, running back Frank Gore donned a dark green military-style jacket, green cargo pants, and designer jewel- encrusted dog tags.
"I told myself I'm going to wear this, because I felt I was going to come out hunting on Sunday," Gore said. "It's my hunting outfit."
Gore had 107 yards on 19 carries in San Francisco's 19-11 win over the collapsing Redskins.
For the record
New Orleans QB Drew Brees threw a TD pass for the 36th straight game, tying Brett Favre for the second-longest streak in NFL history.
Johnny Unitas fired scoring passes in 47 straight.
What's in a number?
Matt Moore was getting congratulatory yells and salutes in a Miami locker room once dominated by quarterbacks like Bob Griese and Dan Marino
.
Matt Moore? Yeah. The fifth-year pro from Oregon State put up the best number of his career in a 31-3 win over Kansas City - a quarterback rating of 147.5. Marino only equaled that once, in the opener in 1984 (a 35-17 rout of the Redskins in which Marino threw five TD passes without an interception).
An unofficial season
The Cowboys' 23-13 win over Seattle gave coach Jason Garrett a 9-7 record in his first 16 games in charge.
The Bucs stopped here
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won 10 games a year ago, but are trundling along at 4-4 following a 27-16 loss at New Orleans.
They're also driving coach Raheem Morris crazy.
Ronde Barber intercepted a Drew Brees pass with the Bucs trailing, 17-3, in the third quarter. But instead of taking advantage of the break, the offense killed the drive when running back LeGarrette Blount swatted Saints defensive end Will Smith across the face mask.
The resulting 15-yard penalty pushed the ball back from the New Orleans 21-yard line to the 36 and forced Tampa Bay to settle for a field goal.
"Those things, we cannot allow to happen," said Morris, whose team was penalized nine times for 80 yards. "It's not good enough to come to the sideline and apologize to your teammates, coaches, or whoever. It's just selfish, undisciplined football."
Oh, oh T.O.
Speaking of selfish and undisciplined, an arrest warrant has been issued for Terrell Owens after he failed to show up for a Bay Area court date regarding child support payments.
A spokeswoman said the flamboyant wide receiver is without an attorney, is representing himself, and was attempting to reschedule the hearing.
