DEAD OR ALIVE?

The Eagles kept alive their ever-so-slim playoff hopes with yesterday's win. Do you believe in miracles? Didn't think so.

DeSEAN IS HEARD FROM

DeSean Jackson caught his first touchdown catch since Week 5, a 34-yarder from Michael Vick, and had his first red-zone reception since the first week of the season. Also didn't call for a fair catch on any of the five punts to him, including one he fielded at his own 2.

MCCOY GAINING ON VAN BUREN

With his two rushing touchdowns yesterday, LeSean McCoy has 14 rushing TDs and 17 overall scores this season. He needs just two more rushing TDs to break Steve Van Buren's single-season mark and two more TDs of any kind to break Van Buren's record of 18 set in 1945.

SACKFEST

The Eagles sacked Dolphins quarterbacks Matt Moore and J.P. Losman a season-high nine times, which gives them 42 for the season. That's three more than they had last season. Jason Babin had three of those nine to give him 15 for the year.

ANDY'S FUTURE

With yesterday's win, the Eagles improved to 5-8. Did it matter? What do the Eagles need to finish for Andy Reid to keep his job? Or doesn't it matter? Until owner Jeff Lurie issues a verdict on Reid's future, there will be plenty to talk about.
