Last season: Played in 13 games, starting eight. Recorded three interceptions, two against Michael Vick ... Released by the Redskins for financial reasons in the wake of the the NFL's punishment of Washington for abusing the salary cap.
Career highlights: Has 25 interceptions and was a solid free safety for the Rams for six seasons ... Atogwe has never played in the postseason and was on some dreadful teams in St. Louis. From 2007-09, the Rams were 6-42.
Meaningless fact: Asked before his senior year at Stanford where he saw himself in 10 years, Atogwe replied "playing in the NFL." The 2012 season will be his eighth season.
