Going Gaga over Super Bowl prop bets
YO, THIS is one thing I've actually done well at the last few years, which is more than I can say for my weekly college football picks. So let's try to have some fun again, and make a little rent money in the process.

I always try to look for stuff with decent odds. So you won't see many even-money plays here. But I'll try Lady Gaga to go sing the national anthem in under 2 minutes, 20 seconds. It'll be close. And I'm usually an over guy. If nothing else, it gives you something to root for before the coin flip.
I'll take Viva La Vida, my favorite Coldplay song (and maybe the only one I really know), to be the last one the band plays during its halftime show at 4-1. I'm figuring it has to be first or last, so worth a shot.
For first scoring play, let's try a Denver field goal (by Temple's Brandon McManus) at 4-1. Just in case, hedge that with Greg Olsen and Emmanuel Sanders each at 10-1.
For highest scoring quarter, why not the third at 9-2?
For winning margin, how about the Broncos (I know, I'm thinking with my heart) for 1-6 points at 4-1, and back that up with a little less for 7-12 points at 8-1. Just a hunch. And for giggles, maybe something real small on tied at halftime goes to overtime at 40-1. You never know. Two years ago, I was looking at a safety for the first score at like 100-1, but chickened out. I could have been a zillionaire.
You could also do the tied at the half with Panthers winning at 15-1 and Broncos to win at 18-1. Nobody's telling you to risk a lot, just have more reasons to pay attention between the commercials.
Let's try first penalty being a false start at 5-1. And yellow Gatorade getting dumped on winning coach at 4-1. It's alwyas been my flavor of choice.
And because it's also out there, Olsen having more catches than the total goals in Sunday's Montreal-Carolina NHL game. Or, for soccer blokes, Arsenal scoring more goals against Bournemouth (I can't make that up) than the number of Peyton Manning touchdown passes. I researched it.
Enjoy.
