Despite 0-2 start, Eagles tickets still among top ten most expensive in NFL
With the NFL season 1/8th complete, we can finally make some conclusions about the rest of the year: The Eagles aren't going to the playoffs, DeMarco Murray really was useless without the Dallas offensive line protecting him, and Chip Kelly got all of his football knowledge from a hallucinating child in the waiting room of a pediatrician's office.
One would think that with all this now common knowledge out in the open, the Eagles would be desperate for people to attend their games; opening the gates and letting whoever wanted to come in watch the last seven home games of their failed season free of charge.
But no! Tickets are not only as normally-priced as ever, they're actually among the top ten most expensive in the NFL, according to Vivid Seats:
The Philadelphia Eagles have the 8th most expensive ticket in the NFL, with a median price of $251. The Eagles most popular home game is against the New Orleans Saints, which has a median price of $343.
The Eagles aren't the only winless, 0-2 team that had started the year with high hopes only to find themselves mired in despair by Week 3. The Seahawks have suffered a similar fate thus far, and their ticket prices are the most expensive in the league at a median price of $457.
When they're out on the road, the presence of traveling Eagles fans bumps up other team's ticket prices by 12%, and ranking the team 9th in popularity as visitors (The Packers have the largest affect when visiting other teams, increasing ticket prices 66%).
