Eagles sign tight end Evan Moore
The Eagles had a new player at practice: tight end Evan Moore.
Moore, who wore No. 86, was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday and signed by the Eagles on Thursday.
"He does know much of our terminology," offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said. "He's a big man who can run and catch. So sign him up and get him going. That's the situation we're in. If he can help us, we'll utilize him."
Moore, 27, has started nine of the 47 games of his career. He has 63 receptions for 810 yards and five touchdowns, all coming during his time with the Cleveland Browns.
