Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez, who signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent less than a week ago, reportedly failed a physical, voiding his three-year deal.

Martinez's father confirmed the news to The Lincoln Journal Star via text message on Wednesday.

From the Journal Star:

The Eagles flew Martinez to Philadelphia and performed X-rays on his injured foot, but voided the deal after the checkup and a review of the ex-Husker's medical history.

Martinez missed all but four games of his senior season because of what was later described as "a plantar plate tear" of his second metatarsophalangeal joint on his left foot.

Martinez has not played a game of football since last year's Minnesota game on October 26.
