The Eagles on Tuesday officially signed former Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne. He was last with the Arena Football League.

Kinne is the second quarterback the team has added this offseason, joining Dennis Dixon, who was last on the Ravens practice squad. The Eagles have five quarterbacks on their roster - Michael Vick, Nick Foles, Trent Edwards, Dixon, and Kinne.

Kinne was with the New York Jets during last offseason but was cut in June. He then landed in the UFL and played for the Omaha Nighthawks before joining the San Antonio Talons in the AFL.

The 6-foot-2, 234-pound Kinne finished his college career at Tulsa after transferring from Texas. Eagles offensive quality control coach Press Taylor worked with him at Tulsa.

As a senior in 2011, Kinne threw for 3,073 yards and ran for an additional 405. In 2010, he was named Conference USA offensive player of the year after passing for 3,650 yards and 31 touchdowns and rushing for 561 yards and seven touchdowns.

With offseason rosters expanded to 90, Kinne is being brought in as nothing more than a "camp arm," according to one Eagles source.
