Samuel not practicing again

Asante Samuel was at the start of Thursday's practice but was not participating, a strong sign that the Eagles cornerback won't be ready to play Saturday at Dallas.

Samuel has a hamstring strain, one Andy Reid termed "slight" on Monday. But the Eagles' starting left corner has not practiced the last two days and will probably be listed no greater than questionable on the NFL injury report.

Samuel, wearing a ski cap, was watching his teammates warm-up on Thursday. With Samuel out, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has been starting in his place. Rodgers-Cromartie jumped in for Samuel when he left Sunday's game against the Jets.

The Eagles are otherwise relatively healthy heading into Saturday's potentially big game against the Cowboys.
