Reports: Temple product Robby Anderson arrested for pushing cop in Miami

The former Temple wide receiver, now with the New York Jets, reportedly shoved a police officer and resisted arrest.

Anderson, 23, was attending the Rolling Loud music festival in downtown Miami's Bayfront Park. According to Miami radio station WINZ, he has been charged with obstruction of justice and one felony count of resisting arrest.

ESPN confirmed that Anderson was arrested.

SportsNet New York reported Monday morning that the arrest report claims Anderson shoved a police officer:

The incident began with Anderson, who turns 24 on Tuesday, fighting with security after he had been told to leave, according to an affidavit from the Miami-Dade Police Department, obtained by SNY. The arresting officer then ordered Anderson to sit on the ground, but he instead "tensed his body and pushed" the officer, according to the complaint.
He was then "redirected to the ground," but "continued to fight with police and security," according to the complaint. Anderson was then arrested and charged with one felony count of resisting arrest with violence, and a misdemeanor count of obstructing police.

The Jets said in a statement that they are aware of the situation and won't say anything more, as it's "a pending legal matter."
