Eagles-Rams inactives: Zach Ertz, Joe Walker out
Ertz is out because of a concussion, while Walker misses his second consecutive game due to a neck injury.
LOS ANGELES — Eagles tight Zach Ertz is out for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams because of a concussion.
Ertz suffered the concussion last week against Seattle. He was a limited participant at practice on Thursday and Friday, but has not progressed to the point that he can play against the Rams. Look for Trey Burton and Brent Celek to play bigger roles Sunday.
The Eagles are also missing linebacker Joe Walker, who is missing his second consecutive game with a neck injury. Najee Goode and Dannell Ellerbe are the two backups at that spot; Goode took most of the snaps last week in the base defense.
The other inactives are tackle Will Beatty, wide receiver Marcus Johnson, defensive tackle Elijah Qualls, running back Wendell Smallwood, and quarterback Nate Sudfeld.
Shelton Gibson will play ahead of Johnson for the third consecutive week. All the other inactives were expected.
