The Eagles routed the Vikings, 38-7, to win the NFC championship and Super Bowl berth.

Here's the best of the social media reaction before and during the game.

Before the game, the city prepped in an odd, but fitting way for a possible Super Bowl berth.

And Vikings fans gave the city a little extra motivation.

But, people still had their doubts about the effectivness of the Crisco.

The Eagles fell behind early, but a Patrick Robinson's pick-six gave the Eagles life.

Nick Foles took that life and RPO'd his way down the field for an Eagles' touchdown, and Legarrette Blount powered his way for another.

A Derek Barnett forced fumble reminded some Eagles' fans about the trade that brought in the picks used to get Barnett and running back Jay Ajayi.

The Eagles were rolling, 24-7, into the half.

At the start of the second half, Pederson went bold with a flea flicker:

Nick Foles was getting plenty of praise by the second half.

Mike Trout was pretty excited.

After the game was all-but sealed, Eagles fans got a little petty.

Even the naysayers had to come around after the Super Bowl berth.

And about those greased poles …

Carson Wentz, on the sideline with his cane, liked what he saw.

Howie Roseman liked what he saw, too.

Jeffrey Lurie was moved by the win for the second week in a row.
