1. First punch. The Flyers need to grab the first goal, which they didn't in Game 5, to take the edge off themselves and the fans who will be packed into the Wachovia Center.

2. First line. Mike Richards and Jeff Carter have a combined two goals in the Stanley Cup finals. Carter's was an empty-netter and Richards' came on the power play. They need to be better.

3. Confidence. If the Flyers are nervous, they won't be successful. Each time they have staved off elimination this season, they have played like the more confident team.
