Bruins pull even with OT victory
MONTREAL - Michael Ryder scored 1 minute, 59 seconds into overtime to give the Boston Bruins a 5-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night, tying the first-round series at two games apiece.

Ryder, who also scored in the second period, took Chris Kelly's pass from behind the net and shot past Carey Price to give Boston its second win in a row at the Bell Centre after the Bruins dropped the first two games of the Eastern Conference series at home.
Patrice Bergeron and Andrew Ference added goals for the Bruins. Tim Thomas made 34 saves for the Bruins.
Game 5 is Saturday in Boston.
Wings oust Coyotes
GLENDALE, Ariz. - Danny Cleary scored from a tough angle with just over six minutes left, and the Detroit Red Wings swept the Phoenix Coyotes out of the playoffs with a 6-3 win late Wednesday night.
Ducks' Ruutu suspended
TORONTO - Anaheim Ducks left winger Jarkko Ruutu was suspended for one game by the NHL for a late hit on Nashville's Martin Erat on Wednesday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference playoff series.
Ruutu was given a minor penalty for interference on the second-period play in the Ducks' 6-3 victory.
Erat went down immediately and lay on the ice for a few minutes before slowly rising with help. The center went straight to the locker room and didn't return because of an upper body injury. He didn't travel with the Predators to Anaheim for Game 5 on Friday night.
Elsewhere: Loui Eriksson of the Dallas Stars, Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings, and Martin St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightning are the finalists for the NHL's Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for sportsmanship. The league said the winner would be announced June 22 at the NHL awards ceremony. . . . Former Braves pitcher Tom Glavine said he would like to be part of an ownership group that keeps the NHL Thrashers in Atlanta.
Glavine told an Atlanta radio station he hopes to organize an ownership group.
"I'm trying on my end," Glavine told 790 The Zone. "No promises. We'll see what happens."
