Jan. 31, 1971: Acquired Rick MacLeish and Danny Schock (completion of Jan 21st trade) from the Boston Bruins for Mike Walton.

May 15, 1973: Acquired the rights to Bernie Parent and a 1973 2d-round pick (Larry Goodenough) from the Toronto Maple Leafs for 1973 1st-round pick (Bob Neely) and future consideration (Doug Favell).

Aug. 20, 1982: Acquired Mark Howe and 1983 3d-round pick (Derrick Smith) from the Hartford Whalers for Greg Adams, Ken Linseman, 1983 1st-round pick (David Jensen) and 1983 3d-round pick (Leif Karlsson).

Sept. 22, 1991: Acquired Rod Brind'Amour and Dan Quinn from the St. Louis Blues for Ron Sutter and Murray Baron.

Feb. 19, 1992: Acquired Mark Recchi, Brian Benning and Los Angeles' 1992 1st-round pick (Jason Bowen) from the Pittsburgh Penguins for Rick Tocchet, Kjell Samuelsson, Ken Wregget and 1992 3d-round pick (Dave Roche).

June 20, 1992: Acquired Eric Lindros from the Quebec Nordiques for Mike Ricci, Peter Forsberg, Steve Duchesne, Kerry Huffman, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, 1993 1st-round pick (Jocelyn Thibault), 1994 1st-round pick (Nolan Baumgartner) and $15 million.

Feb. 9, 1995: Acquired Eric Desjardins, Gilbert Dionne and John LeClair from the Montreal Canadiens for Mark Recchi and 1995 3d-round pick (Martin Hohenberger).

Aug. 20, 1997: Acquired 1st-round picks in 1998 (Simon Gagne), 1999 (Maxime Ouellet), 2000 (Justin Williams) and 2001 (transfered to Ottawa, Tim Gleason) from the Tampa Bay Lightning for Mikael Renberg and Karl Dykhuis.

July 19, 2010: Acquired Matt Walker and 2011 4th-round pick from the Tampa Bay Lightning for Simon Gagne.

June, 23, 2011: Acquired Jakub Voracek, 2011 1st-round pick and 2011 3d-round pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets for Jeff Carter; Acquired Wayne Simmonds, Brayden Schenn and 2012 2d-round pick from the Los Angeles Kings for Mike Richards.
